About Us
About Us
Uniquecare Medical Centre was started in 2016 in Alberta. This was set up to provide child, adolescent, and youth psychiatric services to the families in the Medicine Hat area and its surrounding region. We also accept referrals from Saskatchewan.
Our team is led by Dr Akinyele Iyiola who finished medical school in 1997 in Nigeria. He moved to Ireland to train in Psychiatry in the early 2000s. His love for children drew him to child, adolescent, and youth psychiatry, and he has been working specifically in that field in Canada since 2013.
